In November 1999, I.M.P. Aerospace was awarded a major contract by the United States Navy for Standard Depot Level Maintenance (SDLM) of its H3 Sea King fleet. This multi-year contract provides for overhaul, repair, engineering and flight line support services for the US Navy's fleet of 60 H3 helicopters as well as similar services for 20 Egyptian Air Force Sea Kings and other FMS H3 customers. I.M.P. has, for many years, provided engineering and maintenance support for the Canadian Navy's fleet of 30 Sea King helicopters.

I.M.P. competed aggressively for this work against many very qualified Canadian and American companies and the award reinforces the recognition of I.M.P. Aerospace as a world leader for engineering and maintenance of maritime helicopters.
