The I.M.P. Injection Molding Division, located in the Burnside Industrial
Park in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, utilizes injection-molding machines to
produce products for the commercial fishing, transportation, oil and medical
industries.
We have six injection molding machines:
- 30 ton Arburg - .7oz
- 50 ton Arburg - 1 oz
- 175 ton New Britain - 8 oz
- 200 ton Battenfeld - 12 oz
- 400 ton New Britain - 52 oz
- 500 ton Battenfeld - 32 oz
With materials such as ABS, Polyethylene, Polypropylene, Nylon,
Polycarbonate and special composites, we manufacture a variety of products
sold across Canada, the United States and Europe.
Products we manufacture:
- Fishing - Regular and Deep Gill Net Floats, Lobster Rings, Lobster Escape Hatches, Lobster Pot Swivels, Botchline Hangers, Net Needles, and Spacers.
- Transportation - Wheelchocks.
- Oil - Drill Pipe Protectors in a wide variety of sizes and styles.
- Medical - 25 and 27 gauge Pediatric Infusion Sets for premature infants.
- Custom molding for various customers.
The I.M.P. Aerospace Machining Division manufactures all of our molds.
From tool design and manufacture to product completion, we can provide a
complete injection molding service to our customers.
