The I.M.P. Net Manufacturing Division in the Burnside Industrial Park, Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, is a modern, state-of-the-art facility capable of manufacturing top quality netting using Japanese single knot netting machines (Loom) and a British heat setting machine to set mesh sizes. The highly qualified staff produce a wide variety of products using both poly braided twines supplied from both Portugal and Taiwan, and nylon supplied in Canada. The size of our twine ranges from 3MM up to 8MM and the net looms have the capability to produce up to 100M.D. in both single and double netting. Capabilities also endure as many meshes long as required and mesh sizes ranging from 2" inside knot to 18" inside knot. Commercial fishing netting (e.g. cod ends, scallop netting, trawl, etc.), aquaculture netting, recreational and utility netting are some of the netting types manufactured at this facility. |
