Darrell Taylor is the Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer for IMP Group International Inc., and is the executive responsible for IMP’s Information Services Core Group which includes IMP Solutions and Blue Ocean Contact Centers.
As the CIO, Darrell is responsible for the strategic and operational aspects of information technology for the entire IMP Group of companies. Darrell’s responsibilities also include directing the strategy and growth of the Information Services Core Group. His many years of leadership in the IT industry help guide these organizations in solving customer business and IT-related issues. As well, he serves on the IMP Group Executive Management Committee.
Darrell graduated from Acadia University (’80) with a BSc in Math and a Certificate of Applied Science and then received his Industrial Engineering degree from the Technical University of Nova Scotia (‘82). He joined IMP Group in 1984, and is a member of the Association of Professional Engineers of Nova Scotia. Darrell’s volunteer activities have included: TUNS School of Computer Science Advisory Board, TUNS Industrial Engineering Advisory Council, Mount Saint Vincent Board of Governors and Executive Committee, and the Acadia Alumni Board.
