12-Feb-2009
Halifax, February 12, 2009. I.M.P. Group International Inc. has requalified as one of Canada’s 50 Best Managed Companies in 2009. Established in 1993, Canada’s 50 Best Managed Companies is a national awards program, recognizing Canadian companies that have implemented world-class business practices and created value in innovative ways. Applications are reviewed by an independent judging panel that evaluates how companies address various business challenges, including new technologies, globalization, brand management, leadership, leveraging and developing core competencies, designing information systems, and hiring the right talent to facilitate growth. This prestigious national awards program is sponsored by Deloitte, CIBC Commercial Banking, National Post, and Queen’s School of Business.
“To be accredited for six years as one of Canada’s 50 Best Managed Companies is a remarkable achievement,” said Calvin Younger, Senior Vice President, CIBC Commercial Banking. “This award is a tribute to these companies’ strong leadership, talented workforce and unsurpassed corporate values. They are models of success for companies striving to reach the highest standards.”
