Donation to the Opening Minds Capital Campaign
08-Sep-2009
On behalf of I.M.P., Kenneth C. Rowe will donate $150,000 to the Opening Minds Capital Campaign of the Mental Health Foundation of Nova Scotia. This will allow the Foundation to build one of four bungalows where 10 mentally ill individuals will reside. These funds are being donated in recognition of the over 2,000 I.M.P. Group employees who work in the Province of Nova Scotia. Mental illness visits many of our families and this is a good way to acknowledge IMP Group’s contribution. The residence’s name will be released at a later date. The public announcement of this gift will be made on Tuesday, September 8th.
The Mental Health Foundation of Nova Scotia is a registered charitable foundation that was established in 1987 to create a higher level of awareness of mental health and to support organizations to deliver the highest level of mental health care in every community in Nova Scotia. Through major fundraising efforts, and with the support of donors and volunteers, the Foundation is Changing The Way People Think about mental illness.
