Quality Assurance

The Avionics Division maintains an extensive and proven quality management system. Emphasis on Total Quality ensures that customer and regulatory requirements are addressed. Customer satisfaction is closely monitored.

The Quality Management system is certified to AS9100 RevB and ISO 9001:2000. As well, the avionics operation is an Approved Maintenance Organization (AMO) by Transport Canada under Certificate of Approval No. 1-92 for the repair and overhaul of commercial avionics and flight control systems. Note that this AMO is recognized as meeting requirements of FAR Part 145 (U.S. FAA) Repair Stations.

The Avionics Division incorporates a 1,400 square foot clean room, which meets the requirements of IEST-STD-CC1246D Level 200 for surface particulate and is certified to ISO 14644-1 Class 7.
