Program Management

The work carried out by the Aerospace Division includes large, discreet projects such as major modification programs as well as on-going continuous support to various customers.

When major projects are undertaken, the Program Management group is responsible for the overall leadership and direction of the work.  This includes:

• Overseeing all aspects of the program, including the planning and implementation of cost and schedule control systems
• Ensuring that plans are in place to provide all the necessary resources at the appropriate time
• Managing and mitigating on a pro-active basis all financial and schedule risk. 

Ultimately, the Program Manager for each discreet project is responsible overall to ensure that the work is completed on time and under budget, and that it meets all quality requirements.

This department is also responsible for providing customer-focused Product Support for established programs.  This is an essential role, given the size and complexity of a large organization such as the Aerospace Division.  Product Support :

• Provides a single point of contact for customers to ensure all their needs are clearly understood and satisfied
• Coordinates customer requirements throughout the organization
• Pursues business opportunities with existing customers, both nationally and internationally

 The Program Management group plays an essential role as part of the Aerospace Division team to ensure customer satisfaction!
