"I.M.P. AEROSPACE, HALIFAX, DELIVERS FIRST AIRCRAFT ON MAJOR U. S. NAVY HELICOPTER MAINTENANCE CONTRACT"

I.M.P. Aerospace, Nova Scotia, Canada, today delivered the first U.S. Navy Sea King H-3 helicopter from its repair and overhaul facility at Halifax. Under the multi-year contract awarded March 28, 2000, I.M.P. Aerospace will provide overhaul, repair, engineering and flight line support services for the U.S. Navy's fleet of 60 Sea King H-3 helicopters as well as similar services for 29 Egyptian Air Force Sea Kings. The contract is facilitated by the Canadian Commercial Corporation (CCC), an export sales agency of the Government of Canada specializing in sales to governments, and it is the first time the U.S. military has awarded a complete aircraft overhaul contract to a Canadian contractor.

Today's delivery was recognized in a roll-out ceremony presided over by Mr. K. C. Rowe, Chairman and C.E.O., I.M.P. Group International Inc. and Captain C. Deitchman, Wing Commander COMHELTACWINGLANT, Norfolk, Virginia. Mr. Rowe stated, "This delivery marks a significant milestone in meeting the United States Navy requirements for continuing support of their H-3 Fleet." I.M.P. is currently working on an additional seven H-3 aircraft which will be delivered to the United States Navy in the near future.
