"I.M.P. Group Buys Air 500"

I.M.P. Group International Inc. has acquired Air 500 Limited of Toronto, an air charter company providing business charter and specialized cargo carrying. Air 500 operates from its 40,000 square foot hangar at Toronto's Lester B. Pearson International Airport, flying a fleet of MU-2 turboprop and Cessna Citation jet aircraft.

The company will operate as part of the Innotech-Execaire Aviation Group, headquartered in Montreal. The group, operating at 12 locations across Canada, comprises Innotech Aviation Limited, Execaire Inc., Pacific Avionics & Instruments Limited, Innotech Aviation Services Inc., and now Air 500.

Executive vice-president and chief operating officer, Dave Miller, notes the natural synergy between Air 500 and its new sister companies. "Our aircraft operations group, Execaire, manages Canada's largest fleet of privately-owned business jets," he said "With the addition of Air 500's fleet, we have broadened our market presence, especially in the Toronto region, and will now be able to offer a wider range of aircraft available for charter, for both passenger and cargo clients."

The Innotech-Execaire Aviation Group provides aircraft maintenance, refurbishment, FBO services, aircraft sales and managed flight operations across Canada. The Aviation Group is a core business unit of I.M.P. Group International Inc., a multinational company with aviation, airline, aerospace and commercial interests.
