November 4, 1998 "I.M.P. Group Purchases Toronto-Based Air 500" I.M.P. Group International Inc. today announced its acquisition of Pearson Airport-based air charter company, Air 500 Limited. I.M.P.'s president, Stephen Plummer said, "Air 500 is a well managed and respected provider of air charter services for both business travelers and specialized cargo." Included in the sale are a 35,000 sq. ft. hangar and office complex plus a fleet of jet and turbo prop aircraft. "Air 500 will be an excellent addition to I.M.P.'s growing core group of aviation companies which includes Innotech Aviation Limited, Execaire Inc., Pacific Avionics & Instruments Limited, and Innotech Aviation Services Inc." stated Plummer. The Innotech-Execaire Aviation Core Group provides aircraft maintenance, refurbishment, FBO fuel services, aircraft sales, and managed flight operations from over 12 airports across Canada. "I'm very excited about I.M.P.'s growth plans for Air 500 both here in Toronto and abroad," said Dennis Chadala, Air 500's Vice President, Sales & Marketing, "they certainly understand customer service excellence."
