Cascade Aerospace Awarded Bangladesh C130B Contract

Cascade Aerospace has just won the publicly tendered contract to perform structural and special inspections (six yearly) and other maintenance work for one of the Bangladesh Air Force (BAF) C130B aircraft. Beginning in Fall of 2020, Cascade Aerospace will perform the structural inspections, the special inspections, overhaul components, and provide additional maintenance work in accordance with the BAF’s Maintenance Program. This marks the first contract between Cascade Aerospace and the Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh. Cascade Aerospace is also in discussions to establish a long-term relationship supporting BAF’s fleet.

The contract was signed by the Director General Defense Purchase of Bangladesh and Cascade Aerospace on June 30th. All work will be completed in Cascade’s Abbotsford facility. This is Cascade’s second new customer from the Asia region so far this year following the Rainbow Fitting Replacement contract in February with Thai Aviation Industries for the Royal Thai Air Force C130H fleet.
