Kirk A. Rowe

President and Chief Executive Officer

Kirk Rowe was appointed President and Chief Executive Officer of IMP Group International Inc. in 2019, after serving as President and Chief Operating Officer in 2018.

Kirk served as President, Innotech-Execaire Aviation Group since 2010, after serving as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer since 2000. Previously, Kirk held senior positions at several divisions of IMP Group, including Vice President and General Manager of IMP’s regional airline.

IMP Group International Inc. is focused on global, sustainable growth with over 3,500 experienced people delivering service, quality and value to customers across diverse sectors, such as aerospace & defence, aviation, healthcare, information services, hospitality and property development.

Kirk holds a BComm from Saint Mary’s University (1990) along with a CPA, Certified General Accountant (CGA) (1999) designation and is an AMP Alumni (2017) from Harvard University.

Stephen K. Rowe

Executive Vice President

Stephen Rowe joined IMP Group International Inc. in 1986 and currently serves as Executive Vice President, Corporate.

Stephen is the corporate officer responsible for CAN-med Healthcare (including Harding Medical), Corporate Procurement, Corporate Real Estate and Property Management, Oak Island Resort & Conference Centre, Foundry, and mergers and acquisitions.

Prior to 2016, Stephen held the position of President, CanJet Airlines and had responsibilities for the Commercial Core Group, which included marine, hotels, and mergers and acquisitions.

Stephen graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce from Saint Mary’s University in 1986. He was admitted to the Institute of Chartered Secretaries & Administrators in 1994 and earned his CMA designation in 1995.

As a member of the Board of Directors of IMP Group International Inc., Stephen serves on the Executive and Risk Management Committees.

Dale Rockwell

Senior Vice President Information Technology and Chief Information Officer

Dale Rockwell was appointed Senior Vice President Information Technology and Chief Information Officer in April 2024.

In this role, Dale is responsible for the strategic and operational aspects of Information Technology for all divisions and subsidiaries of IMP Group.

Dale joined IMP Aerospace in 1987 and has spent most of his career in Information Technology roles. Dale has had roles or led projects with IMP Group’s Head Office, IMP Solutions, Innotech-Execaire, IMP Aerostructures, and CanJet. Most recently Dale was Vice-President Engineering and Information Technology at IMP Aerospace.

Dale graduated from Saint Mary’s University in 1984 with a Diploma in Engineering and Bachelor of Science. He then completed his Industrial Engineering degree at the Technical University of Nova Scotia (now DalTech) in 1987.

Richard G. Benwell

Senior Vice President, Chief Legal Officer & General Counsel

Rick Benwell joined IMP Group International Inc. as Legal Counsel in 1992 and currently serves as Senior Vice President, Chief Legal Officer & General Counsel.

In this role, he is responsible for delivery of legal services to all divisions and subsidiaries of IMP Group. As part of a team of five lawyers, legal support is provided to operations throughout Canada and worldwide.

In addition to his role as Senior Vice President, Chief Legal Officer, Rick serves as Corporate Secretary. In this role, he oversees the corporate governance of IMP Group and its subsidiaries.

Rick graduated from Dalhousie University with a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) and a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) in 1987. In addition, Rick holds a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc. - Physics) and a Diploma in Engineering (Dip. Eng.), also from Dalhousie University.

Robert W. Burns

Senior Vice President & Chief Human Resources Officer

Rob Burns joined IMP Group International Inc. in 1991 and currently serves as Senior Vice President & Chief Human Resources Officer.

In this role, he is the senior executive responsible for Human Resources, including strategic human resources leadership, group benefits and HR policy and programs. Rob also provides strategic oversight and support for labour relations to all business units of IMP.

Rob graduated from the Dalhousie University Rowe School of Business IMP Leadership Development Program in 2013. Rob received a Bachelor of Commerce Degree from Saint Mary’s University in 1995, and his Certificate in Human Resource Management in 1996. Rob holds the designation Chartered Professional in Human Resources (CPHR) from the Chartered Professionals in Human Resources of Nova Scotia.

Colin M. Gillis

Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer

Colin Gillis is the Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of IMP Group International Inc. In this position, Colin is responsible for driving the financial position of the Company, as well as providing comprehensive financial direction and guidance to IMP’s divisional financial officers.

Colin joined IMP in 1990, and over the years has held various financial management positions of increased responsibility before assuming the role of Chief Financial Officer in 2019. Colin is a graduate of St. Francis Xavier University (BBA) and is a Certified Professional Accountant (CPA, CMA). He is a member of the Financial Executives International.
